Al Gore on Saturday Night Live

I recently saw a re-run of the 05/13/2006 episode of "Saturday Night Live." Al Gore did the opening skit—Parallel Universe—in which he was speaking from the Oval Office as if he had actually been elected President (or should I say been awarded the Presidency?)

In this parallel universe, the budget surplus is a mere several trillion dollars, cars run on trash, glaciers are on the attack, and Saudia Arabia needs foreign aid.
